momof2 I've had this set for a year and a half and haven't had any problems with breakage or sturdiness. I sit in the chairs frequently and it hasn't caused them to break or become wobbly at all. It is a handsome piece that can work well in a main living area.
LKF My son is 2 and he loves his special table & chairs. He eats all his meals there, colors, does puzzles and plays with his cars. Frequently he'll ask me to join him for lunch. We've had the set about 4 months and I'm very impressed with it's quality, especially considering one of the chairs is mine. The simple style and wood tone fit into our kitchen/dining area perfectly. I completed the set with the storage bench and bookshelf unit. I've been very pleased.
Busy Mom of Two "Leah F." I am extremely pleased with this table and chairs set. I have 2 toddler boys and they are very rough with everything. This set is well made, excellent quality, and super easy to put together, I did it in about 10 minutes. My boys love their table and chairs. They eat all of their meals on it. It is the perfect size for them, yet small enough to fit in the corner of my kitchen without taking up space.

Shelby's MOMMY Why can't companies make QUALITY items any more??? Consumers spend hard-earned money on products that break all too soon and then sit in a landfill.I purchased this expensive set for my daughter in Dec 2007. I wanted something that would look nice in our living area, but something she could have her snack at and color. She is three years old and very mature and careful w/ her belongings. As other reviewers said, the chairs are far too wobbly. Also, a few weeks ago one of the legs broke off where the bolts attach (as w/ other reviewers) and we fixed it. Today another leg broke off and it's going to the dump. It's not fixable, not safe around my 15 month old. The chairs are going as well...I'm tired of them tipping over and am sick of having to constantly tighten the bolts. Almost a relief to get rid of it. Seriously regret having spent so much $
E. Brands I love this set and so does my 21 month old daughter. It's great for small spaces, too. The best feature is that it is a very solid and sturdy piece. My daughter often wants my husband to sit on the second chair and it holds up well!!!A great buy.
T. Bauer Had to write because there were so many negative comments about this set. I bought this a year ago for my grandchildren (currently 5 & 7) They have loved this set from the beginning and Mom & Dad are completely satisfied. The set was easy to assemble, is used daily for eating and for play and homework and is still in great condition, just some scratches on the chair legs. I even made some little cushions to fit the seats so they are padded. There have been no problems with the set, no breakage, loosening of screws, etc. Even Mom & Dad have sat on the seats with no problems. I would recommend this set to anyone. It was well worth the money and I couldn't have chosen a nicer set for them. I am very pleased with this purchase.
Tonya Gunn "funmommy" I saw the first few posts and I definitely should have listened to those posters. The table is adorable, and sturdy but the chairs are junk! The chairs have completely fallen apart within the first week!I use this table as a writing table for my son, who is very tiny and gentle with things and still the chairs have fallen apart. I just can't believe that Target would sell such a low quality product.I will be buying some different chairs elsewhere.don't buy it!
Disappointed Mom My 20-month-old daughter was so disappointed when her table leg broke! She has never abused the table; she has never climbed on it or mistreated it in any way. It looks so solid, but it did not even last 2 months. We were very, very disappointed. The leg broke at the place where the bolts attach to the table top. We glued the wood back together with wood glue and let it set in a clamp for a week. The leg broke within minutes of being reassembled. Basically, the table is made of cheep wood. Looks are deceiving in this case. So disappointing! It was a costly disappointment as well. We searched all over for the perfect table and chair for our daughter. We wanted something that would match our living room...we didn't want something that looked "kiddie" in our living area. Too bad the quality of this table and chair set did not match its decorative design!
Meema5D I ordered this set for my 2-year old granddaughter. I was able to put the whole thing together myself in no time at all. The chairs are just the right height for her and sturdy. Even I sit on a chair when we color. Great for tea parties, crafts, and games. Well, well worth the money.
